Community Education has returned for the Fall of 2023!  Please note class information will be located on our social media platforms.  There will be no brochure for the Fall Session 2023.

**ALWAYS CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE BEGINNING ANY COURSES INVOLVING PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES.**  

FEES: Fees are listed with all course descriptions. Nanuet School District residents, over 60 years of age, may enroll free in some Adult Education courses, such as aerobics and drawing classes, but are required to pay material and textbook fees. Before enrolling, Nanuet senior citizens must first obtain a Gold Card at the School Administrative District Office, which is located in the High School.

NO RECEIPTS ARE MAILED:  We will notify you if you cannot be admitted to a class or if the class is being canceled. In the event you cannot be admitted, your check will be returned or full refund given. PLEASE ASSUME THAT YOU HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED IN YOUR SELECTED COURSE AND THAT THE COURSE WILL BE CONDUCTED UNLESS YOU RECEIVE NOTIFICATION TO THE CONTRARY.

Registrations are not transferable.

Refunds, due to OUR cancellation, will be made 3 to 4 weeks following the beginning of classes. This time is needed to complete processing by the school district business offices. You must submit both sides of your canceled check in order to receive your refund. Send to: Community Education, Nanuet High School, 103 Church St., Nanuet, NY 10954.

ABSOLUTELY NO FEES WILL BE REFUNDED UNLESS WE CANCEL A COURSE. 

There is no provision for a partial refund for taking one session or part of a course.  An administrative fee of $10.00 will be deducted from your letter of credit for any OTHER refunds we approve.

Again we state:  PRIOR TO BEGINNING ANY COURSES INVOLVING PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES WE ADVISE YOU TO CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR.

*INCLEMENT WEATHER/EMERGENCY CLOSINGS: Whenever the Nanuet Public Schools are closed, the Community Education Program does not convene. If weather becomes hazardous and/or it is necessary to cancel classes, every attempt will be made to announce cancellations on www.cancellations.com or our recorded announcement on 845-627-9860. In the event of school closings, classes are extended another week.
